AiM Shift Light Module

Description

The AiM shift light module is a compact array of ten RGB LEDs that help monitor RPM thresholds, alerts and other indicators.

AiM Shift Light Module

The AiM shift light module features 10 configurable RGB LEDs, giving you complete control over your gear shift optimum revs. Monitor your RPM thresholds and lap times performance.

You can easily set the LED colour and the RPM value that turns each LED on/off, and depending on the gear number. With the shift light module being fully customisable you can select whether you want a solid alarm or flashing one, you can even custom the flashing frequency.

The shift light module can be helpful when you have a logger but don't have a dash display, or if your dash display is positioned where you can't easily see its shift lights.

Connection

The shift light module uses a CAN connection, which is a 712-712 male 5 pin patch lead. These are sold separately and are available in 0.50, 1, 1.5 and 2m cables, you can select any of these options above.

Can be used with MXL2, MXS, MXP, MXG and Strada versions, EVO4S and EVO5 and PDM displays.

Predictive Lap Timer

The shift light module can also be set as a predictive lap timer using our Race Studio 3 software. Customise the LED bar to turn green if you are improving your Chrono compared to the best one of the session or will turn red if you are getting worse.

Please Note: Predictive lap time function is only available for MX Series of dash displays.

You will require the CAN connection, 712-712 male to male 5 pin patch lead to enable connection to your dash display or logger.

Configure & Analyse with Race Studio 3

Configuration

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.

Analysis

With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances.
