Solo 2 DL With ECU Connection

AiM Solo 2 DL is the most precise GPS lap timer with the ability to show you your lap time live as you drive. You are receiving data from two satellite constellations from anywhere globally by using GPS and Glonass, also giving you a significant improvement in data speed and positioning precision.

Startup time is reduced to seconds and lap times are accurate to a tolerance of two-hundredths of a second.

Easy Connection

The Solo 2 DL can be connected to the vehicles ECU to obtain various data coming from the sensors you have fitted to your vehicle. Solo 2 DL manages all the hardware ECU connections and all the communication lines: depending on whether you want to connect to the ECU using the OBDII port or directly to the ECU through the CAN/RS232 channel. Suppose the particular ECU protocol is not supported. In that case, you can connect the Solo 2 DL to a coil RPM which provides a digital input delivered from square wave signals or pulse signals.

The sampled data you record depends on the actual ECU. Still, it typically includes RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), oil, air, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear and lambda value (air/fuel). The list of ECUs is constantly updated.

Solo 2 DL gives instant speed; timing splits live data and predictive lap times.
The Solo 2 DL has a sharp, high contrast display which helps drivers easily identify the data displayed on the screen. The Solo 2 DL also features a selection of 7 different backlight colours, which you can select to suit your requirements.

Predictive Lap Timer

The GPS technology provides better reliability from the predictive lap timing function, so you can see in real-time how your current lap compares to your best lap. The LEDs are also configurable to give a visual indication of whether you are quicker or slower. You can also build the layout of the display to show the data you want to see.

Data Recall On Screen

Solo 2 DL can be used for circuit racing and point to point or regularity events and performance tests such as 0-60mph. And just like the circuit racing mode, all the data is recorded and can be reviewed immediately after each race or test session.

Solo 2 DL New Track Creation And Our Track Database

Solo 2 DL allows you to create a new temporary or permanent track layout. Whether it's a point to point run for rallying or a closed-loop track.

If there is no track already, Solo 2 DL will create a new one for you.

With over 4000 tracks pre-loaded from around the world. As soon as it's switched on, the Solo 2 DL identifies its position. Then once you start to drive, it automatically recognises the start line coordinates of the track and starts sampling lap times every time you go past.

WiFi Communication With The PC

The Solo 2 DL has integrated WiFi. If you want to review your data in more depth, transfer your data securely and quickly onto a laptop or computer up to 50m away without the need for connectors and cables. You can then import the data into the Race Studio 3 software.

Configuration

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.

Analysis

With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by Solo 2 DL and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances.
